I started in the year before Covid, 2019, sifting through the detritus of a friend's career as a behind-the-scenes (movie stills) photographer. He had died and left a few bags of cameras, lenses and assorted accessories in my office, mainly Nikon, mainly manual. Old stuff. But the lenses were serviceable and I was inspired (prompted, urged?) to start taking photos. But I was going to do it manually (learning that exposure triangle) and I was going to print what I shot.

So that is what I've done.
